Five favorite jobs (I'm not in MMDP, so i just listed five jobs related to nursing)


1. Travel nurse
* Salary: Travel nursing usually pays $24-$35 per hour, with an additional housing subsidy. Pay is higher in regions of the country with the highest cost-of-living: New York, San Francisco, Chicago, and other major metropolitan areas. California Nursing Jobs are in high demand because of the location, and it turns out that there are many open travel nursing positions in the sate.
* Prospects: rate of travel nursing in medical industry is keep raising 3percent every year. 


2. Pediatrics nurse
* Salary: median starting salary is $49,265. After two or three years of experience and employment, a Pediatric Nurse could earn an annual salary of over $88,000.
* Prospects: Job prospects are expected to be excellent especially for pediatric nurses with at least a bachelor degree and extensive experience. Many job openings will also arise from the need to replace pediatric nurses that retire, transfer, or leave the field for other reasons.


3. Nursing practitioner
* Salary: The salary earned by a nurse practitioner will vary greatly depending on a person’s years of experience, skill/specialty and geographic location. For instance, entry-level nurse practitioners with less than 1 year of experience can take home between $59,287 and $74,899 a year, but nurse practitioners with 20 or more years of experience take home between $71,565 and $91,900 a year, according to Payscale.com, an online compensation information resource.
* Prospects:mployment of RNs, which include advanced practice nurses such as nurse practitioners, is supposed to be excellent, growing 22 percent between 2008 and 2018, the BLS projects. Those RNs who go on into advanced practice to become clinical nurse specialists, nurse practitioners, nurse-midwives and nurse anesthetists are expected to the most in-demand jobs within the field of nursing, according to the BLS. So not only are you choosing a hot career by entering nursing in general, you are choosing one of the hottest careers within that field by choosing to be a nurse practitioner.


4. Military nurse
* Salary: Provides up to $30,000 ($10,000 per year for a maximum of three years) to nurses with a BSN, MSN, DNSc or Ph.D. in nursing.
Provides up to $37,500 ($12,500 per year for a maximum of three years) for critical care nurses with a BSN or higher.
As a certified registered nurse anesthetist, you can receive special pay up to $45,000, ($15,000 per year for a maximum of three years) paid in three yearly increments of $15,000.
* Prospect: The career outlook for nurses overall is excellent, and those who wish to serve as active duty nurses in the U.S. armed forces are highly sought-after. The overall employment of registered nurses is projected to grow by 22 percent between 2008 and 2018, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. Opportunities for qualified individuals in all branches of the armed forces should be excellent through 2018, the Bureau maintains, although the downturn in the economy has caused more people to turn to military careers, making certain positions more competitive. 

5. Nursing professor
* Salary: The average salary for nursing faculty jobs in Washington, DC is $79,000. Average nursing faculty salaries can vary greatly due to company, location, industry, experience and benefits.

* Prospect: rate of nursing faculty is keep raising as many students are applying to a nursing school.
